Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived with her mother in a small village surrounded by a dense forest. One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of food and some medicine to her grandmother who lived on the other side of the woods.
"Take this basket to your grandmother," said her mother. "And be careful not to talk to any strangers along the way."
Little Red Riding Hood promised to be careful and set off into the forest. As she walked, she met a wolf who greeted her.

Thinking it was a good idea, Little Red Riding Hood stayed behind to gather flowers. Meanwhile, the wolf hurried to the grandmother's house, knocked on the door, and tricked her into letting him in.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she found the wolf dressed as her grandmother. She noticed something strange but couldn't quite figure it out.
"Grandmother, why are your ears so big?" she asked.
"The better to hear you with, my dear," replied the wolf.
"Grandmother, why are your eyes so big?"
"The better to see you with, my dear."
"Grandmother, why is your mouth so big?"
"The better to eat you with!" shouted the wolf, jumping out of bed to chase Little Red Riding Hood.
Just then, a woodcutter passing by heard the commotion and rushed in to save Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. He chased the wolf away, and they were safe at last.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned to be more cautious when traveling through the forest.
